Abstract
The aim of the research is to study the continuity in the development of intellectual giftedness in high school students and university students.
The issues of continuity in the development of intellectual giftedness of students in the process of transition from secondary school to higher education are considered. One of the results of the study is the identification of the structure of the student scientific community and its qualitative composition using the example of the State University of Education. The features of the dynamics of motivation for intellectual activity depending on the duration of activity within the framework of student scientific research are established.
