Abstract

The article presents the results of a survey of representatives of educational organizations in 68 regions of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the study was to identify, analyze, and describe current practices of labor education in schools. The analysis of the survey results revealed the dominant role of labor education in the career guidance of schoolchildren, the orientation of labor education practices towards the socialization of students, a significant expansion of social partnership precisely within the framework of the implementation of labor education practices. The results obtained indicate that labor education in modern schools is considered not only as a means of forming practical skills, but also as an important component of professional self-determination, socialization and integration of education with the community and the labor market.
